IPS Law was formed as a result of the co-founders recognising a genuine need for a niche law firm specialising in sports and media law with a commercial and pragmatic outlook, which combines specialist industry knowledge and experience of dealing with many of the key operators within the sports and media arenas.

IPS Law advises a wide range of personalities and organisations within both the worlds of sports and media, with a particular focus on sport. We advise a large number of high profile international footballers, most of which are currently playing in the Premiership, as well as established Premiership football clubs and leading football agents in relation to a wide variety of matters including: player transfers, image rights, sponsorship and endorsement agreements, merchandising agreements, regulatory issues and sporting dispute resolution.

In the transfer windows of 2006 and 2007, IPS Law has advised Premiership players, Premiership football clubs and leading football agents on deals in relation to the transfer of players and contract re-negotiations totaling a combined value in excess of £200 million.
